This is far from being a surprise since the Habs had been expected to join the ranks of the British team for many weeks. Last November, Norman Nato took part in the WEC end-of-season testing at the wheel of the gold Hypercar on the Sakhir circuit.
For the Frenchman, it is a return to the premier category, having competed in the 2019-2020 season with Rebellion Racing in LMP1 until the 24 Hours of Le Mans, finished in second place overall alongside Gustavo Menezes and Bruno Senna. Since then, he has refocused on LMP2 by driving for Team WRT.
He is the third Hertz Team JOTA driver to be made official for the 2024 season after William Stevens and Oliver Rasmussen, known to them since the publication of the entry list of the WEC last November.
