Doriane Pin continues the adventure in GT3 with the Iron Dames

The year 2024 promises to be busy for Dorian Pin. Recently announced in F1 Academy with Prema and Mercedes, the Habs will continue to participate in the WEC in parallel. After a year in LM P2 alongside Mirko Bortolotti (occasionally replaced by Andrea Caldarelli and Mathias Beche) and Daniil Kvyat, both promoted to Hypercar with Lamborghini, “Pocket Rocket” will compete in the new LMGT3 category this season. She will thus be present in the No. 3 Iron Dames Huracán GT2 Evo 85 alongside Michelle Gating and Sarah Bovy.

She's an incredible talent who will perfectly complement Sarah and Michelle's strengths ". A trio that has already achieved wonders by winning the 4 2022 Hours of Portimão in European Le Mans Series. Pin thus replaces the experienced Rahel Frey in the Iron Dames crew which ended the 2023 FIA WEC season with a historic victory at the 8 Hours of Bahrain. The four women competed together last weekend during the 24 Hours of Daytona in GTD (6e of their category, 25e in general).
Accumulation of mandates
The Mercedes Junior driver will not face date conflicts between the F1 Academy and the WEC, which has facilitated this double program. The next few weeks will be busy for the Habs as they will begin the opening of the World Championship season.Endurance FIA on March 2 in Qatar then the first weekend of the 100% women's series the following weekend in Jeddah, on the sidelines of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix (March 7-9).
Doriane will not be the only representative of France in the Iron Lynx / Ladies squad of the WEC 2024. Franck Perera, Lamborghini Squadra Corse factory driver, will be associated with Claudio Schiavoni, and Matteo Cressoni in the Huracán GT3 Evo 2 n°60. “ Having already worked with Franck in the United States, I am very happy that he is joining our team globally, welcomes Piccini. Already announced in the No. 60 Lmaborghini, Claudio Schiavoni will be joined by Matteo Cressoni for his fourth season in the WEC with the Iron Lynx team. The two men already raced together last weekend, at the 24 Hours of Daytona. Lamborghini Squadra Corse factory driver Franck Perera will make his WEC debut alongside both men. The Frenchman already knows the team well having competed in the 24 Hours of Daytona, the 12 Hours of Sebring and Petit Le Mans last year with Iron Lynx, as well as at Daytona this year.
