The BoP of the 6 Hours of Imola 2025 known

After its inaugural round in Qatar, the World ChampionshipEndurance stops in Italy for the 6 Hours of Imola, the second meeting of the 2025 season.

As before each round, the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) and the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO) have published the official document announcing the Balance of Performance (BoP) of the event.

In terms of weight, the manufacturer that suffers the most from the 1812 km of Qatar is Cadillac: the two V-Series.R inherit 11 additional kilos, bringing their weight to 1 kg. Conversely, the Porsche 963 benefit from a reduction of 11 kilos compared to Qatar, dropping to 1 kg.

After his hat-trick at Losail, Ferrari is given eight more kilos for Imola, reaching a weight of 1 kg. Aston Martin is also penalized by nine additional kilos: the two Valkyrie, entered for their second race in WEC, now weigh 1 kg. BMW, for its part, receives an additional load of five kilos, bringing its cars to 051 kg.

The other three manufacturers — Toyota, Peugeot et Alpine — only experience slight weight variations. The GR010 Hybrid gains one kilo (1 kg), the 065X9 loses one (8 kg), while the A1 loses two (030 kg).

The BoP Hypercar for the 6 Hours of Imola 2025:

In LMGT3, the three cars on the podium in Qatar — the No. 06 TF Sport Corvette Z33.R, the McLaren United Autosports' No. 720 59S Evo and The Bend Team WRT's No. 4 BMW M31 — all carry weight penalties under the success handicap.
