The crew of the third Ferrari 499P confirmed

The crew of the third Ferrari 499P entered in the Hypercar category of the WEC 2024 has been confirmed. As expected, the trio will be made up of Robert Kubica, already announced previously, Yifei Ye, official Ferrari driver since December 2023, and Robert Shwartzman, reserve of the Team en Formula 1.

This third Ferrari Hypercar is entered in the World ChampionshipEndurance 2024 under private registration under the name AF Corse. The Italian team has therefore chosen a top-flight crew to share the wheel of the flocked prototype of the Prancing Horse and who will wear the number 83. The reigning LM P2 champion with WRT, Robert Kubica, will be associated with Yifei Ye, who was already competing in Hypercar on the Porsche 963 customer of Hertz Team JOTA, and Robert Shwartzman. The Israeli will make his debut in Endurance after testing the prototype in November during the Rookie Test in Bahrain.

Ferrari had already confirmed its six drivers for the two official 499Ps, which will be the same as in 2023.
