Cadillac-JOTA crew distribution known, Bourdais associated with Button

We knew the drivers but not yet the crews. After lifting the veil on its livery in the heart of Paris a few weeks ago, the Cadillac-JOTA duo seems to be definitively ready for the 2025 season of the WEC. In fact, the distribution for this new campaign of the world championship ofEndurance, the first between the American manufacturer and the English team, was made official this Friday.

As a reminder, three pilots from each “clan” were selected with Alex Lynn, Earl Bamber and Sébastien Bourdais, from Cadillac, and Norman Nato, Will Stevens and Jenson Button, present last year on the Porsche 963 gold. On the sports plans side, Cadillac-JOTA has decided to bring together the most experienced drivers, namely Earl Bamber, Sébastien Bourdais and Jenson Button on the No. 38 for an average age of just over 41, while Alex Lynn will be supported by Norman Nato and Will Stevens on the No. 12.

Team Principal, Dieter Gass: “ We have six extremely strong drivers who combine experience with a fresh perspective on the Cadillac program. Each of these drivers brings something unique to the table, and as a team, our job has been to determine the most appropriate combinations to maximize the overall strengths of the group. While character and personality play a large role in the team dynamic, driving style and preferences have also been key factors in determining who will be paired with each car. We have taken our time in completing this process, and we look forward to seeing what both trios can accomplish in Qatar and beyond. »

The drivers represent a mix of seasoned endurance racing veterans and rising stars, creating a dynamic and competitive environment as the team embarks on its 2025 WEC campaign.

David Clark, co-founder of Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA, added: “ We are proud of the chemistry that exists not only between the drivers, but also within the team as a whole. No individual is more important than the others. Absolutely everyone has their part to play and creating the right dynamic where everyone can perform at their best is crucial to our success on track. During pre-season testing we have seen an incredible team spirit develop between our drivers and their teams, which is hugely encouraging, but we take nothing for granted. That’s the JOTA way! »
