Discover the program for the 8 Hours of Bahrain, the eighth and final round of the 2024 WEC season, which will take place from October 31 to November 2.

Here we are! The 2024 season of the World ChampionshipEndurance will come to a head in the final round, the 8 Hours of Bahrain 2024! Present on the calendar since the creation of the WEC In 2012 (with the exception of 2018), the Sakhir circuit became an unmissable event in the championship, which it has closed since 2020. And this season, nothing is yet decided in the premier category for the Drivers' and Manufacturers' titles in Hypercar!

Porsche is in an ideal situation in both championships: on the drivers' side, the crew of the Porsche n°6 of Kévin Estre, André Lotterer and Laurens Vanthoor arrives in Bahrain with a 35-point lead over the Classic Ferrari for sale n°50 (Antonio Fuoco – Miguel Molina – Nicklas Nielsen) and 37 points ahead of the Toyota No. 7 (Kamui Kobayashi Nyck de Vries).

As a reminder, since the 8-hour race requires that the scale offers up to 38 points for the winner, not forgetting the point distributed for pole position. The Stuttgart firm also leads the Constructors' championship with a 10-point lead over Toyota and 27 points over Ferrari. Let's also remember that the Drivers' and Teams' titles are already decided in LMGT3, since the Porsche Manthey PureRxcing n°92 of the Malykhin – Sturm – Bachler trio won the world crown at Fuji.

As for the entrants, there are no surprises: there will still be 18 Hypercars and 18 LMGT3s at the start of the 8 Hours of Bahrain. The main notable change is the crew reshuffle at Alpine : Jules Gounon replaces Nicolas lapierre and will take the wheel of the A424 n°35, while Charles Milesi will move to the n°36 alongside Mick Schumacher and Matthieu Vaxiviere. Sébastien Bourdais will also be there in the No. 2 Cadillac alongside Earl Bamber and Alex Lynn.
