The French team announces that Boguslavskiy wishes to move towards new challenges. The driver entered under the neutral banner was previously driving the No. 3 Lexus RC F LMGT78, alongside Arnold Robin and Kelvin van der Linde. The three men achieved a best result of seventh place in category during the recent 24 Hours of Le Mans. Boguslavskiy was previously successfully entered with the French team in GT World Challenge Europe, winning two titles in Endurance Cup, first in the Silver category in 2019 then in the Pro category in 2023, when he teamed up with Jules Gounon and Raffaele Marciello.

Clemens Schmid will take his seat in the No. 78 car from the 6 Hours of Sao Paulo (July 12-14). The 33-year-old Austrian will not arrive in unfamiliar territory since it was already he who replaced Timur Boguslavskiy during the 6 Hours of Spa last May. The latter was unwell, and therefore had to give up his place. Akkodis ASP enters two Lexus this season in WEC, the n°78 therefore but also the n°87, driven by José Maria Lopez, Takeshi Mikura and Esteban Masson. After a difficult start to the season, the two Japanese GT3s had a better than expected 24 Hours of Le Mans.
