Toyota is reinventing itself, at least in terms of its liveries in the world championship! The Japanese firm has revealed the colors it will wear in 2024, as well in WRC whether WEC…and things are finally changing in the Japanese clan! Gone is the white and red livery, almost unchanged from year to year, and make way for black!
In 2024, Toyota will sport a new black livery in Endurance, taking up the new stylistic code imposed by the brand and unveiled this Tuesday. Toyota Gazoo Racing announces that there are two concepts behind the new matte black liveries that the GR010 Hybrids will wear in the WEC. The first is “Speed”, which affirms the rejection of defeat. The second is “Prototype”, which reflects the desire to manufacture ever more efficient sports cars and to continue to move forward.

This radical change in livery is above all an opportunity for Toyota to stand out again in the WEC, with the massive arrival of new manufacturers since 2023. Multiple reigning Drivers' and Manufacturers' champions in the championship, the Japanese team has found in this change of livery a new way of communicating and “rejuvenating” its image a little more. Let us also remember that Toyota will be entered in the WEC for the 13th consecutive season in 2024, with almost unchanged crews: only Nyck de Vries joins the No. 7 trio.
