What will the weather be like for the 6 2025 Hours of Imola?

This was the disruptive element of the 6 2024 Hours of Imola. While Ferrari dominated the proceedings at home, heavy rain joined the party and the Italian manufacturer got its strategy mixed up, leaving the victory to Toyota GR010 Hybrid n°7 Kamui Kobayashi, Mike conway et Nyck de Vries in front of both Porsche 963 official.

Will rain play a role again this year, on the occasion of the second meeting of the 2025 season of the WEC ? According to the Italian Air Force forecasts, the public service in charge of meteorology in the Boot, it should not rain on Sunday for the race, which will take place from 13 p.m. to 19 p.m., with temperatures ranging from 21°C to 19°C. 

Despite the image of Italy as a picture postcard, Imola is located on the edge of the Padan Plain and does not always benefit from a very mild climate, as evidenced by the cancellation of the Grand Prix of Formula 1 in May 2023 due to flooding in the region. Rain also made its way into the paddock of the Audromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari this Friday afternoon. While the first half of the week was extremely rainy here in Emilia-Romagna, this weekend should be fairly calm in this regard, with precipitation forecast only this Friday during Free Practice 1 or even during part of Free Practice 2, with alternating sunshine and cloudy skies, but without a drop on the horizon. Obviously, caution is always advised with the weather forecast.
