The minutes tick by and the accidents keep coming on the Yas Marina circuit. Although calm returned for a while, it was quickly interrupted by a new collision between two GTs, causing the deployment of the second Safety Car of the day and then the red flag.
Then fighting for 9th place in the category, the GR Racing no.86 and the TF Sport no.95 came into contact at high speed, at the end of the long straight of the Emirati track. By wanting to fall back on the trajectory, the Ferrari Ricardo Pera touched theAston Martin of Ben Tuck, before colliding head-on with the interior barrier, car destroyed. If the driver is doing well, the marshals did not hesitate long before interrupting the race with a red flag, even if the clock continues to tick.
One hour from the end of these 4 Hours of Abu Dhabi, the AF Corse n°83 is still in the lead with Alessio Rovera ahead of the Proton Competition n°22 and the Crowdstrike Racing by APR n°4 which, after an early start of laborious racing, admirably returned to the fight for the podium. In LM P3, COOL Racing has taken control of the category, while the GT class is also dominated by an AF Corse, that of Simon Mann.
