There are days when nothing goes right and others when nothing can happen to you. Once again touched by grace, the crew of the #4 Oreca from CrowdStrike Racing by APR won the Abu Dhabi 4 Hours 1, the first of two races organized on the Yas Marina circuit as part of the ALMS finale.

For George Kurtz, Malthe Jakobsen and Louis Delétraz, this is even a third consecutive success, after their victories in the two races organized in Dubai last weekend.

"We are very happy with this third victory of the season, the third in a row.""I'm on an impressive run," smiles Malthe Jakobsen. In addition to his numerous ALMS victories, the Dane also won the 24 Hours of Daytona in LMP2 with CrowdStrike, in a crew that also included George Kurtz, the Bronze driver of the trio.

Thanks to their success in Abu Dhabi, Jakobsen, Kurtz and Delétraz have achieved a double victory: they take the lead in the standings ahead of Cetilar Racing, which had won the first two rounds of the season in Sepang (Malaysia).

"This puts us in an ideal position before the final round on Sunday," continues Jakobsen, who is also a pilot Peugeot en WEC. “But we know anything can happen, so we need to stay calm and make sure we finish the race tomorrow. A huge thank you to the team and these two incredible teammates. There’s nothing to complain about!”

The final race of the season will take place on Sunday, February 8th and can be followed live from 13:30 PM on the Asian YouTube channel. Le Mans Series. It will decide who will be champion between APR and Cetilar, where Frenchman Charles Milesi drives the #47 alongside the usual driver Classic Ferrari for sale Antonio Fuoco and Roberto Lacorte, who spun out during the first race in Abu Dhabi.
