The American manufacturer will continue to field two V-Series.Rs in IMSA and one in WEC.

Cadillac Racing unveils its Endurance program for 2024

Cadillac Racing wants to build on the foundations laid in 2023. Next season, the Detroit (Michigan) brand will enter the same number of cars as this season.

Namely two V-Series.R on the 9 GTP rounds of theIMSA, the factory No. 01 and the Whelen Engineering No. 31, and one throughout the eight rounds of the WEC : the Cadillac V-Series.R n°2.

The latter will be joined by other prototypes for 24 Hours of Le Mans 2024 (June 15-16), as was already the case during the Centenary.

« We are very excited to enter the second year of our Cadillac V-Series.R program, commented Laura Wontrop Klauser, head of the competition program at General Motors, the parent company of Cadillac.

We are really proud of what we accomplished in the first year and we learned a lot from competing in two different championships. We have a solid foundation to build on. »

The No. 31 Whelen Engineering Cadillac V-Series.R, featuring drivers Pipo Derani, Jack Aitken and Alexander Sims, leads both the IMSA GTP Drivers/Teams championship and the IMSA Michelin standings Endurance GTP Drivers/Teams Cup.

The 2024 IMSA campaign will open with the 24 Hours of Daytona (January 27-28) in Florida, while the FIA ​​World Endurance Championship will begin with a unique event: the 1812 km of Qatar (March 2) .
