12H of Sebring – H+3: Vesti leads the charge for Cadillac

After a technical issue during qualifying the day before, the No. 31 Cadillac leads the 12 Hours of Sebring after three hours, having started from last position in the GTP class. Danish driver Frederik Vesti, along with Earl Bamber and Jack Aitken, is at the wheel of the red Whelen Engineering-sponsored Caddy. After the third round of pit stops, the runner-up Formula 2 2023 ahead of Alex Palou at the wheel of the Acura ARX-06 n°93 and the two Porsche officials. The No. 10 Cadillac of the Wayne Taylor Racing team lost a lot of time in a collision with a GT and is two laps behind the lead in the race.

In LM P2, the French team TDS Racing is still leading the category after starting from pole position. Hunter McElrea is being pursued by the two cars of the United Autosports USA team. In GTD Pro, the No. 4 Corvette was in first place before diving into the pit lane. Finally, note that Frenchwoman Lilou Wadoux is leading the GTD field at the wheel of the Ferrari 296 GT3 n°21 of AF Corse.
