Ranking IMSA Detroit 2025:

  • For the first time in 16 IMSA races, the pole-sitters maintained their lead in both GTP and GTD Pro. On the winding Detroit street circuit in Michigan, Nick Yelloly and Renger van der Zande (Acura) converted their pole into victory this Saturday, May 31.
  • The Meyer Shank Racing duo ended a run of four consecutive victories by the Porsche Penske Motorsport, thanks in particular to a magnificent attack by Renger van der Zande. The Dutchman snatched 1st place from Ricky Taylor (Cadillac) 3'30" from the checkered flag after a late braking:

  • The Porsches of Jaminet-Campbell and Nasr-Tandy finished 3rd and 4th, ahead of the two official BMWs.
  • In GTD Pro, Ford earned a well-deserved victory for Mike Rockenfeller and Sebastian Priaulx, who had taken pole on Friday. Corvette finished 2nd with Alexander Sims and Antonio Garcia while Lamborghini completed the podium with Marco Mapelli and Andrea Caldarelli.
