The Japanese manufacturer has confirmed that it will retain its four regular drivers, Tom Blomqvist, Colin Braun, Renger van der Zande and Nick Yelloly, for the 2026 Grand Touring Prototype (GTP) season.

Blomqvist and Braun will begin their third campaign together at the wheel of the No. 6 Acura ARX-06. The duo had a solid 2025 season, highlighted by a second place at the 24 Hours of Daytona, a podium at Indianapolis and above all a major victory at the 6 Hours of Watkins Glen, in addition to two wins and four podiums already obtained in 2023.

The sister car, No. 93, driven by Renger van der Zande and Nick Yelloly, will also continue its winning streak. In their first year with Acura, the pair won the Detroit Grand Prix and secured two other podium finishes at Sebring and Road America. Prepared and run with technical support from Honda Racing Corporation USA, the No. 93 now aims for consistency at the highest level.

The Acuras also shone in qualifying, accumulating four pole positions for the 2025 season – two for Yelloly, one for Blomqvist and one for van der Zande – and securing second place in the constructors' championship behind Porsche.

« I'm really looking forward to 2026, and in a way, there's no real off-season. Tom Blomqvist confides. Having the same team again will be a huge advantage. Everyone has the talent and motivation needed, and with HRC behind us, there's no reason why we can't aim for the title. »

The team specifies that the composition of its crews for the endurance rounds – including the 24 Hours of Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring – will be announced at a later date.
