Colton Herta with a double program in 2026

Cadillac Racing is preparing to start a new season across the Atlantic with three cars entered in IMSA, by Wayne Taylor Racing and Action Express Racing. The same ones who won the last two races of the 2025 campaign.

Eight drivers return to compete in the 2026 championship, along with Cadillac test driver Colton Herta. Formula 1, and competitor in Formula 2 with Hitech Racing. The American will be part of the crew of the No. 40, to support Jordan Taylor and Louis Deletraz at Wayne Taylor Racing in three endurance races (Daytona, Sebring and Road Atlanta). He has already competed in these three IMSA endurance races in 2024 with the same team, with the same co-drivers to take the overall victory in the 12 hours from Sebring, and achieve a podium finish in the GTP category at the 24 Hours of Daytona.

Jordan and Louis are two of the best drivers on the grid, and it's a pleasure to join them on this journey. I can't wait to get behind the wheel of the naturally aspirated Cadillac. I can't wait for Daytona."

Adding to the Cadillac lineup is the No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing car, driven by Ricky Taylor and Filipe Albuquerque throughout the season. Will Stevens will assist them in competing in the same events as Colton Herta.

Finally, in the #31, Jack Aitken returns for his fourth season at the wheel of the Whelen Cadillac V-Series.R. He took two wins and led the most laps in all nine GTP races last season, with Action Express Racing. Together, they took second places in both the Drivers' and Teams' Championships in GTP. The Briton will be joined by Earl Bamber, while Frederik Vesti will strengthen the team during the races ofEndurance, and for Long Beach, due to a clash of dates with the WECIndeed, Bamber will have to miss this round to participate in the 6 Hours of Imola in the WEC.

As a reminder, the 2026 IMSA season will consist of nine races, and will begin January 16-18 with the annual Roar Before the 24 event, followed the following weekend by the 64th edition of the 24 Hours of Daytona, one of five endurance races on the program.
