The 21-year-old Frenchman will compete in his first 24 Hours of Daytona in January, as part of the program IMSA of Vasser Sullivan's No. 12 Lexus RC F GT3.
French F4 Champion (2021), Eurocup-3 Champion (2023) and European Champion Le Mans In this year's Series, Masson continues his rise to prominence. Already familiar with the RC F GT3, which he has driven for the past two seasons in WEC with Akkodis ASP, including a podium finish at Imola in 2025, he will discover the Florida classic this time alongside Frankie Montecalvo, Aaron Telitz and Benjamin Pedersen.
For the Montreal native (Canada), this first participation at Daytona marks a logical milestone in his career, as he has continued to rack up titles and establish himself as one of the most complete young drivers of his generation.
The No. 12 car of Vasser Sullivan will be driven all year by Telitz, returning to GTD, and by Pedersen, a former driver IndyCar who is making his first season with the team. Montecalvo, a loyal member of the program, will resume his role as reinforcement for the endurance races, having achieved three podium finishes in 2025.
Masson will complete the crew for the 24 Hours of Daytona, where Lexus aims for a solid performance against increasingly stiff competition in the GTD category.
In the GTD Pro category, the Japanese brand is banking on continuity by retaining Jack Hawksworth and Ben Barnicoat at the wheel of the #14 RC F GT3. The two Britons, GTD Pro champions in 2023, will be joined in the longer races by Kyle Kirkwood, a regular in the program and winner at Sebring in 2024.
Lexus will begin its 2026 season at Daytona with the Roar (January 16-18), before tackling the 64th running of the 24 Hours of Daytona on January 24-25. For Esteban Masson, this will be an opportunity to take a significant step: his first participation in one of the world's greatest endurance races.
