Season 2026 ofEndurance will begin on January 24th and 25th with one of the first major events of the year: the 24 Hours of Daytona. 61 cars are expected for the Florida classic, which will include at least 14 French drivers (confirmed as of December 28th). Only two will compete in the GTP category: Kévin Estre and Julien Andlauer, who are based across the Atlantic. Porsche consequences of the end of the program WEC from the German manufacturer.
Six Frenchmen will race in LMP2: Sébastien Bourdais with Tower Motorsports, Mathias Beche and Charles Milesi at TDS Racing, Tom Dillmann on the side of Inter Europol Competition, as well as François Perrodo and Matthieu Vaxiviere at AF Corse USA.
Jules Gounon will be the only Frenchman competing in GTD Pro with Classic Mercedes for salewhile there will be five of them in GTD with Esteban Masson in a Lexus, Romain Grosjean behind the wheel of a Ford Mustang, Sébastien Baud and Valentin Hasse-Clot, partners in a Aston Martin or even Lilou Wadoux on a Classic Ferrari for sale.
