Andrea Caldarelli returns to the wheel of the team's No. 9 Lamborghini. The car will be a Huracán GT3 Evo2 for the 24 Hours of Daytona, before the planned debut of the new Lamborghini Temerario GT3 at the 12 Hours of Sebring. Sandy Mitchell will share the seat for the entire season after making a one-off appearance alongside Caldarelli at Watkins Glen this year.
Mirko Bortolotti and James Hinchcliffe will join the team for the 24 Hours of Daytona. Frenchman Franck Perera will then take over alongside Caldarelli and Mitchell for the 12 Hours of Sebring and Petit Le Mans, confirming a strategic rotation for the major endurance events of the season.
The new Lamborghini Temerario GT3 was tested in November during a session IMSA at Daytona by Caldarelli, Perera and Marco Mapelli. The testing program will continue at Sebring to fine-tune the car before its first race appearance, a sign that Pfaff Motorsports is carefully preparing the ground for its new top-of-the-line endurance weapon.
Pfaff Motorsports has thus confirmed its commitment to remaining a major player in IMSA, combining youth, experience, and new technologies with the launch of the Temerario GT3. Lamborghini and endurance racing fans can already mark these dates on their calendars.
