Porsche has announced its driver lineup for the 2026 IMSA season. French drivers Kévin Estre and Julien Andlauer will race the 963s in North America.

Porsche unveiled the six drivers who will compete in the 2026 season of theIMSAWith the program's discontinuation WECKevin Estre and Laurens Vanthoor are crossing the Atlantic to compete in the North American championship. They will team up for the entire season in the #6 963. Reigning champion Matt Campbell will join them for the rounds of theEndurance Cup. The No. 7 car will still be driven by Brazilian Felipe Nasr. The former driver of Formula 1 will be accompanied by Julien Andlauer. After his debut at the 8 Hours of Bahrain in the WEC, Laurin Heinrich will be the third man in the long-sleeved category.

Estre, Vanthoor, and Andlauer all arrive from the now-defunct Porsche Penske Motorsport factory program in the WEC. They replace Mathieu Jaminet, who has moved to Genesis Magma Racing, and Nick Tandy, who is expected to focus on the brand's GT customer programs, while Matt Campbell will not contest the full season this year. Although rumors suggest he will join the Ford program in 2027, Felipe Nasr remains on board. Laurin Heinrich is promoted from GT racing, where he drove the famous "Rexy." The German driver had the opportunity to prove himself with his first full-time appearance at the last World Endurance Championship finale.

The German manufacturer has not specified whether it will call upon reinforcements for the 24 Hours of Daytona to form four-man teams. If so, it will probably be the regulars of the...IndyCar Josef Newgarden and Scott McLaughlin are the two who recently tested with Porsche at Daytona during pre-season testing.

The 2026 IMSA season will kick off on January 24-25 with the 24 Hours of Daytona.
