The Brazilian shares the car with Julien Andlauer and Laurin Heinrich.
The Stuttgart-based manufacturer even achieved a 1-2-3 finish in this first 90-minute session: Nico Pino placed the privately entered JDC-Miller Porsche #85 in second position, ahead of Laurens Vanthoor in the factory Porsche #6. The three cars were separated by just 0.108 seconds, immediately confirming the excellent foundation of the 963, despite the different aerodynamic configurations between the 2025 and 2026 versions.

At Acura, it was a quieter day for Meyer Shank Racing, as the No. 60 car didn't complete a flying lap in the morning. Tom Blomqvist, however, remained calm, placing the car eighth in the afternoon.
“Everyone has made changes, some very visible like at Cadillac, others more subtle,” explains Blomqvist. The most significant change concerns the tires, but we're still using Michelin, so the overall balance is familiar. The competition should be extremely close.
