After NASCAR and Formula 1, Haas embarks on the adventure IMSA ! Please note, we are not talking about the racing team, but about the company, Haas Automation, specializing in numerically controlled machine tools. The American company becomes the new partner of Pratt Miller Motorsports, which enters two Corvettes in the GTD Pro category. This is the first time that the Haas name has been associated with a team in GT. An announcement that comes a few weeks after that marking the end of the Stewart-Haas Racing team in NASCAR.

“We are thrilled to welcome Haas Automation to the Pratt Miller Motorsports family, rejoices Brandon Widmer, vice president of the motorsports department at Pratt Miller. Their reputation for producing CNC machine tools aligns perfectly with our mission to provide the highest quality and performance to our racing team as well as our other mobility and defense business units . »

After the end of the NASCAR program, Haas is therefore heading towards IMSA which enjoys a growing and increasingly international reputation with the arrival of new manufacturers, both in the premier category and in the GT categories. A choice which should have no impact on the Formula 1 team. At the start of the year, Gene Haas assured that he wanted to continue the adventure in car. “I didn’t come to F1 to sell [the team], he confided to F1 this winter. I did it because I wanted to race there (…) We are not here to make money, we want to ride and be competitive. »
