The three Lamborghinis bearing the Iron Lynx logo will return to Florida at the end of January. The Italian structure has formalized its presence for the 24 Hours of Daytona (January 26-29), with three Huracán GT3 EVO2s, as in 2023. Among the three mounts, two will race under the Iron Lynx banner, and one under the colors of Iron Ladies. Two mounts will also be entered on all rounds of theEndurance Cup, including that of Iron Dames.

The first Lamborghini, the No. 60 in yellow livery, will be driven by Claudio Schiavoni and Matteo Cressoni in the GTD category. The identity of the other two pilots has yet to be confirmed.

In the green No. 19 Huracán, we will find the Lamborghini factory drivers, namely Mirko Bortolotti, Jordan Pepper and Andrea Caldarelli. These should have run in the GTP category originally with the SC63, but the delay taken by the Italian firm in the development of its LMDh deprives the manufacturer of a first run at Daytona. The three official drivers will be joined by Frenchman Franck Perera, in the GTD Pro category.

Finally, the No. 83 Iron Dame car will be driven by the traditional trio Sarah Bovy – Rahel Frey – Michelle Gatting. On the other hand, no Dorian Pin formalized. At least, not yet: the name of the fourth driver remains to be confirmed.

“We are very excited to return to the United States, as we really enjoyed the IMSA championship this year, rejoices Andrea Piccini, Team Principal of Iron Lynx. There we learned a completely different way of racing with a paddock that made us feel very welcome. We are really looking forward to returning to competition in 2024 with a big race like the 24 Hours of Daytona with our three Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO 2s. The team will take a well-deserved short break in December and we will be more than ready to hit the track again . »
