Phil Hanson takes his career to the next level by Endurance. Long spearhead of the United Autosports team in LMP2, whether in IMSA or WEC – including a class victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2020 – the Briton will make his debut in the premier category in the American championship. At 24, the young driver will join JDC-Miller MotorSports next season, aboard the Porsche 963, for the five Endurance Cup events.

Despite his young age, Phil Hanson already has a fine CV: he was notably the first driver to win the World Endurance Championship (LM P2), the European Le Mans Series and the 24 Hours of Le Mans (LMP2) same year, in 2020. He is also the youngest driver to have won a WEC title, the youngest British driver to have won in LM P2 at Le Mans, the youngest Asian Le Mans Series champion in LM P3, the youngest winner of a race in the European Le Mans Series.
In the United States, the Englishman has already participated in the 24 Hours of Daytona, the 12 Hours of Sebring and the 6 Hours of Watkins Glen in 2018. “I am very excited to join JDC-Miller Motorsports for IMSA Endurance racing in 2024! After having my first taste of IMSA in 2018, I am delighted to return to the IMSA paddock and especially to make my debut in the GTP class with the JDC Porsche 963. I can’t wait to see what we can accomplish,” rejoiced Phil Hanson.
