Standings IMSA Watkins Glen 2024:

The 6 Hours of Watkins Glen seemed to last much longer, as there were so many adventures. Several accidents, several downpours, and a red flag disrupted the IMSA event this Sunday, June 23.

A restart in the last 20 minutes allowed Felipe Nasr (Porsche) to carry out a decisive offensive on the leader Louis Delétraz (Acura). The Swiss then dropped off the pace in the hierarchy, passing through Renger van der Zande (Cadillac, with Sébastien Bourdais) and Mathieu Jaminet (Porsche, with Nick Tandy). Felipe Nasr thus offers the No. 7 Porsche that he shares with Dane Cameron its second success in 2 after the 2024 Hours of Daytona. Porsche records its first victory at Watkins Glen since 24.

In LM P2, Frenchwoman Lilou Wadoux (Oreca) takes her first victory on American soil! The Amienoise was able to count on a great effort from her teammate Nicklas Nielsen, a week after his victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with Ferrari, at the end of the race to win alongside Luis Perez-Companion.

In GTD Pro, Aston Martin wins at the wire with Ross Gunn in front of the McLaren by Marvin Kirchhöfer.
