The eternal Swiss Army knife of motorsport, Romain Dumas can't sit still. At almost 47 years old (he'll be 14 on December XNUMX), he has embarked on a new adventure via his structure RD Limited, based on the Alès circuit. No Dakar this time, but an LM P2 program which will kick off in the next Asian season Le Mans Series.
« For years guys were coming to me asking if we could do something on the circuit, but it never really came up because I was busy with the Dakar and other things, the Alésien tells us with his singing accent. With Rebellion's withdrawal from the Dakar, we now have a little more time. »
Romain Dumas could have opted for the GT3 to tackle this new project, but preferred to capitalize on the strengths already in place in its structure, with Brice Gaillardon at the forefront. It happened very quickly., explains the boss. It wasn't on target. Brice, who takes care of all the technical stuff at my place, is working at TF Sport this year and is in charge of the car of Robert Kubica, Louis Delétraz and Jonny Edgar at the top of the championship.
