While we expected that the Ferrari are fighting for pole position, at Imola, the qualifying session was ultimately more complicated than expected. During Free Practice, Charles Leclerc had shown great pace which foreshadowed very good things for the rest of the weekend. The reality of the qualifications, however, cooled the enthusiasm of the many fans present on site.
Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz could not do better than a 4th and 5th position on the starting grid. A result which is very far from satisfying the Monegasque who almost advanced with the status of favorite for pole position.

The Ferrari driver, however, remains confident for tomorrow's race and ensures that his SF-24 can exploit its full potential on Sunday.
