The beginning of 2025 is marked by novelty for Lewis Hamilton, but also in parallel under that of the return to the sources. The Briton landed at Maranello Monday to meet his new team, greet his future colleagues and pose for a photo shoot, the result of which sent social media into a frenzy.

At the same time, the Briton has made a significant return to his team dedicated to performance. Angela Cullen, his historic “physio” during his time at Mercedes, is reportedly set to make his return to Project 44, the seven-time world champion's performance-focused structure.

A successful collaboration at Mercedes
The New Zealander joined Lewis Hamilton in 2016, appearing as his closest collaborator. After helping him win four titles between 2017 and 2020, Angela Cullen left the seven-time world champion in 2023, without either of them speaking out about the reasons behind this separation. Hamilton paid her a beautiful tribute on his Instagram account, explaining that Angela Cullen had helped him become “a better version of [himself].”
The forty-year-old recontacted his former physiotherapist so that she could take part in the Ferrari adventure alongside him. According to Sky Sports, Angela Cullen will be part of a team reporting to Marc Hynes, Lewis Hamilton's manager.
Since leaving the GB team, the former field hockey player has worked with Marcus Armstrong in Indycar. The New Zealander (Chip Ganassi) finished 14th overall, with a third place in Detroit as his best result. Returning to the premier class of motorsport, Angela Cullen will have to wear red as she accompanies Lewis Hamilton in his first steps at Ferrari. The Briton took to the track for the first time this Wednesday morning on the Fiorano track, in front of ecstatic tifosi.

This return is very good news. It is obvious that the chemistry between the driver and his physio-assistant-confidant was decisive in Hamilton's ability to maintain himself at the highest level for so many seasons. I see this as a sign that Lewis did not arrive in Maranello to be a well-paid extra before retiring. To be continued...

What a circus with Hamilton and his physio, who had been ejected from the Mercedes team! Like what, you are thrown out the door and you don't go back in the window :):):)

What makes you say that Angela Cullen was "fired" from Mercedes. We never found out what happened. The fact that she returned to Ferrari alongside Lewis shows in any case that it was not a relationship problem between her and the Briton.

Sir Gold Lives Matter needed his Kiwi "nanny". Proof that he is giving himself all the arguments to succeed at the Scuderia but will it be enough? Wait and see!
