You are part of the select club of pilots of Formula 1 Having made over 100 starts. What are your thoughts on this new 2026 regulation?

Rene Arnoux : I've lived through several regulation changes (René Arnoux drove in F1 from 1978 to 1989. Ed.). The arrival of turbos, ground-effect cars with fixed and movable skirts… Some changes were truly necessary. With ground effect and skirts, there came a point where it wasn't the best driver who was driving anymore, but the strongest, the one who best withstood centrifugal forces. Each time, they change the rules, they design new cars, but fundamentally, nothing changes. The good drivers remain the good, and the not-so-good drivers remain the not-so-good. This year they're removing DRS, but adding a button for more power? It's different, but it's still a bureaucratic nightmare.
