If the hierarchy retains the 4 top teams (without knowing in what order), it is in the rest of the grid that there is likely to be movement. AlpineHaas and Racing Bulls look quite well prepared, but Williams, Aston-Martin and Cadillac could find themselves lagging behind.

Surely, a car that failed the crash test, or was deemed too heavy at Williams, or a Stroll Racing car developed and assembled at the last minute (and transported by Ukrainian cargo plane to Barcelona), raises some questions about the planning and resources used to develop the 2026 car, both at Grove and Silverstone! Let's wait for Bahrain 1 to learn more, as Williams has the advantage of using an engine already proven by Mercedes, McLaren, and AlpineWill Fernand grace us with a "GP2 engine" soon?
