Formula 1 Barcelona Grand Prix – Friday's schedule

The seventh round of the 2026 F1 season, the Spanish Grand Prix, takes place from June 12th to 14th. Find the full schedule for this Friday.

This Friday, the pilots of Formula 1 They will be returning to the Barcelona circuit for the first time since the Shakedown held in Catalonia in January. All the teams therefore already have data on this track with the new generation of cars. This will be the perfect opportunity to compare that data with the information they will gather during the two Free Practice sessions scheduled for the day.

During FP1, seven regular drivers will hand over their gears to rookies, as required by regulations that mandate teams to field young drivers in at least four Free Practice sessions during the year. Colton Herta will thus have the opportunity to complete his first laps behind the wheel of a car of the top category for Cadillac. This Friday, the Formula 2 and the Formula 3 will also begin their weekend. The drivers in the promotion categories will already be competing for pole position for the weekend during the qualifying sessions for each class, scheduled for 2:40 pm for F3 and 14:40 pm for F15.
