This is an announcement that will delight those who do not have a Canal+ subscription. The broadcaster of the Formula 1 in France since 2013 has announced the free-to-air broadcast of the tenth Grand Prix of the season, in Canada.

From 20 p.m., the twenty drivers on the grid will take the start on the Gilles-Villeneuve circuit, where Max Verstappen has won the last three editions. The Dutchman will be aiming for a fourth consecutive victory on this semi-urban circuit, where he lost pole position last year after setting exactly the same time as George Russell.

Canal+, which will broadcast all the sessions, will offer its usual duo of Julien Fébreau and Jacques Villeneuve as commentators, accompanied by Margot Laffite, Franck Montagny, Laurent Dupin, Naomi Schiff and Günther Steiner. The former boss of the team Haas F1 Team acts as a consultant on certain rounds, while his name is circulating to take over the management of Tech 3 in MotoGP.

Canal+ will also be offering the first episode of "Team Hadjar" this weekend, the new immersive digital series featuring the Racing Bulls rookie, followed during the Monaco GP. The first episode will be available on YouTube starting Saturday, June 14, before being broadcast free-to-air on Canal+ on Sunday, June 15 at 18:25 p.m., just before the race. The series is inspired by Team Zarco, the show dedicated to MotoGP rider Johann Zarco, recently winner of the French Grand Prix at Le Mans, following a crazy race held in changing conditions.

Canal+ teams were also present at his side to film this beautiful moment and obtain the reactions of his parents, in particular.

Except that Canal Plus is no longer available on TNT. They already told us that they were broadcasting the Australian GP when it was only a vulgar summary. They take us for idiots. Canal should go and get lost. I'm watching Le Mans for free this weekend.
