Starting from the sixth row of the grid after missing out on reaching Q3 on Saturday, the two Ferrari managed to climb back up the standings this Sunday at Imola. If Lewis Hamilton failed at the foot of the podium, Charles Leclerc had to settle for sixth place overall, especially after having to let the Williams byAlexander albon at the end of the race.
The Monegasque and the Thai driver battled fiercely for fifth place, but with the Williams forced to go through the gravel, Ferrari preferred to secure sixth place for Leclerc by asking him to let Albon through. The number 16 driver made no secret of his frustration after a home Grand Prix that could have given him a place just off the podium if all the odds had fallen into place.
"It's frustrating because we had a good race overall, but the Safety Cars didn't come at the right time for us.", he judged on Canal+. “We couldn't even stop on the last one because we only had soft tyres available, and Lewis decided to stop at the last moment. I didn't really know how many places I was going to lose by making a double pit stop, I just knew I was going to lose more time. I preferred not to take the risk. That's how it is. It's disappointing because at the beginning I thought everything was going quite well with a good pace. With the safety cars, we lost our success.”
Visibly dejected after another difficult weekend for Ferrari, Charles Leclerc can look ahead with the idea that the next Grand Prix is at home in Monaco. The reigning winner in the Principality, the Monegasque driver was asked if this renewed performance in the race gave him optimism for one of his goals for the year. He gave a straightforward answer: " No. » Let's hope for his sake that his pessimism ultimately proves to be unwelcome...

Charles is way too negative, that's not a good sign...🤨, it's true that in qualifying they are bad, but in the race (Imola) they were surprising... let's see the Monaco GP... a few days... 😎👀👍

A frustrated Leclerc, announcing that he has no chance for Monaco and meanwhile for Hamilton, the car is fantastic! You have to know?! I think that very quickly these two will very quickly be at each other's throats as rarely seen in F1 between 'teammates'!

Let's not forget that Ferrari's goal is to make money, the way is to get people talking about you (check) and sell as many caps as possible (check). Win races from time to time for credibility and boost cap sales! That's what F1 has become, not great but you have to live with the mediocrity of your time.

Well yes, as already said Ferrari who thinks they will win everything with the commitment of Hamilton for the sum of 80 million, more than what Charles receives ????? My Ferrari still evolves with a Brlusconi mentality :(:(:(

Knowing how to unite an institution such as Ferrari around you is a very difficult alchemy that only very great drivers have achieved. And many drivers, even world champions, have failed at it. Ferrari is now clearly battling against Williams, which is a very good thing for the English team, which has dominated F1 unchallenged and is on the verge of returning to the top. But there are still others ahead. An old adversary to both of them called McLaren and a certain Max Verstappen, not to mention Russell.

He's starting to complain a lot about the perfect son-in-law, the frustration of being in a team of idiots and worrying prospects for 2026. A wasted career in red, like Alesi in his time, for the same sirens. This team does more harm than good!
