Colapinto at Racing Bulls, Lawson out: how credible is the wild rumor swirling around the paddock?

Liam Lawson's future is already the subject of much discussion after two nightmarish first weekends at Red Bull. The Kiwi is already in the hot seat, according to some, in favor of Franco Colapinto joining Racing Bulls and Yuki Tsunoda being promoted to Red Bull. A credible hypothesis?

Colapinto at Racing Bulls, Lawson out: how credible is the wild rumor swirling around the paddock?

@DPPI

Two short laps and then he's gone? Liam Lawson could already leave Red Bull after joining him only at the start of the season. This is in any case the meaning of the information shared by several international media, but the decision of the Austrian team would be quite surprising: Liam Lawson is certainly experiencing very complicated first weeks, with no points and three consecutive eliminations in Q1, but firing him would have all the hallmarks of a premature decision. However, Hispanic media report that the management of Red Bull is considering replacing the New Zealander with Yuki tsunoda from the Japanese Grand Prix in two weeks, while Franco Colapinto would arrive at Racing Bulls alongside Isack Hadjar… A real upheaval in perspective, but is this scenario really likely to happen?

I also wondered why RBR wouldn't recruit a proven player like Hulkenberg or even Bottas. But the result would be the same. I'm willing to bet that Tsunoda will do better in his Racing Bulls than if he's given the hot potato that is the 2nd RB. The problem lies elsewhere, in the fact that the car or the settings are designed for Verstappen. Doesn't anyone at RBR notice that?

What if the only current "RB/Verstappen compatible" had been (was?) Ricciardo!

Yes, it's a good idea, especially for Yuki who deserves it!

One thing is certain, driver management in the Red Bull galaxy is never like anywhere else 😣. With the upcoming triple header (Suzuka / Sakhir / Jeddah), I would tend to think that Lawson will be in the second RB21 but if the poor performance continues, he will be demoted to Ridiculous Bulls for Miami unless Lindblad were to overperform for his F2 debut. It would be surprising to see Brille A Tort cede, even for hard cash, Colapinto to his buddy Horner while on the horizon in Miami, the Argentinian could be in the 2nd Alpine with better "job security" than with a Red Bull jacket. But anything is possible in F1, especially with dollars!
