The 2026 season of Formula 1 The season will begin on March 8th with the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne. This new season will mark the arrival of entirely new regulations and an 11th team on the grid with Cadillac. Audi will also make its debut on the grid, replacing Sauber. Unlike 2025, when F1 organized a large joint presentation evening for the sport's 75th anniversary, this will not be the case in 2026. The various teams will therefore unveil their liveries individually.

I agree with the comments… in the 70s and especially the 80s… we gave free rein to the creativity of the engineers! Brabham, (G. Murray), Renault F1 Turbo… Williams… Jordan… Copersucar… and especially Lotus… We were eagerly awaiting the new cars… but now… they all look somewhat alike… sad. But I'm really looking forward to the tests at the end of January; we'll see things a bit more clearly then… alainkf1@pt.lu 😎👀👋👀👋

There are bound to be a few engineers smarter than the others at interpreting the regulations who will come up with something (or several things) that will make the season exciting, a little or even totally boring!

How sad that these presentations are so visually identical, all the F1 cars formatted by overly rigid regulations, where all that's left to comment on is the livery, the paint job, and the sponsor placement. I confess I'm nostalgic for the presentations of the 70s, where surprises and "wow" moments were commonplace, when they weren't practically revolutionary. Every presentation was a dream. It was a different era, when drivers overtook each other during the race…

The F1 2026 presentation is a grand, blatant hoax: a 2025 model in 2026 colors. No need to remember the dates for that...

The only truly worthwhile event will be the preliminary tests in Barcelona from January 26th to 30th, 2026, where the 11 teams will quickly learn whether the 2026 season will be successful or, potentially, challenging! The rest is just marketing to start selling 2026 merchandise as early as possible.
