For the 72nd time, Ferrari unveiled its Formula 1 For the upcoming season, and unsurprisingly, the SF-26 will be red! So far, nothing too surprising, but what is more striking is the wide white collar that runs along the car from the base of the halo to the middle of the rear hood. A bold choice that gives the frame a retro look. Lewis Hamilton et Charles Leclerc, reminiscent of bygone eras when the Team used white, most recently in 2016 with the SF-16.
Aesthetically, Ferrari returns to a brighter red after opting for matte shades over the past seven seasons, drawing inspiration from the special livery used at the Italian Grand Prix last September in homage to the 50th anniversary of Niki Lauda's first world title, won in 1975 with Ferrari. Before seeing the version Ferrari will field on the track, the Italians explain that the designers of the SF-26 have " "We prioritized functional simplicity, creating a robust and flexible concept, ready to evolve throughout the season as more data is collected on the track."
"The SF-26 marks the beginning of a new era for both Formula 1 and Ferrari," says Frédéric Vasseur, the team director. “This car is the result of a considerable collective effort and represents the starting point of a completely new journey, built around different rules which inevitably involve many unknowns. The team is aligned and more united than ever as we approach the season. Starting next week in Barcelona (for pre-season testing from January 26th to 30th), we will begin the process of understanding and validating the car. In this initial phase, the priority will be to learn as much as possible and lay a solid foundation for the first race.”
To see if the SF-26 is performing well, we will have to wait for the first Grand Prix of the season in Australia on March 8th.

Hello, can someone explain what the hole is that's located on the side of the SF-26 above the IBM sponsor logo, next to the E? Thank you for your answers.

Latest news… ‼️ Ferrari isn't expected to test in Barcelona before Tuesday… McLaren not before Wednesday!!!!! And Williams won't be there for testing at all… a disgrace… in my opinion ‼️ 😎FIA? 🧐

At 11:19 this morning, I received an email inviting me to discover the Replica 2026 polo shirt and cap collection shortly before the SF26 was unveiled. Business, always business!

Meh... if all the cars were to do the Barcelona tests dressed only in black, it would be hard to tell them apart unless you had a really sharp eye! These 2026 regulations seem to be producing almost identical cars, even if each team claims to have developed its own unique concept! As for Scuderia Ferrari, the blue is actually quite distinct against a white background and not directly applied to the red, as feared by the gentleman from Revolut, a true F1 expert...

It's okay, but nothing special! They could have gone for a design like the 75-77 models... But hey, it's Ferrari, service designer 👎. 😎Ferrari 🧐

It's clear that Ferrari listened to the guy from Audi or Revolut who said that blue on red looked awful! So it has a French feel to it: a tribute to Fred?
