Isack Hadjar (Racing Bulls), 9th in the sprint qualifying for the Brazilian GP, speaking to Canal+:

“I think we were pretty good, we managed SQ1 and SQ2 well. In SQ3, I was watching the other drivers’ first laps from the garage. I was quite surprised that the others improved on their second laps. I could see it looked complicated. I knew that if I could just replicate one lap like in SQ2, it would be pretty good.”

I was less comfortable on the soft tires. They work at the beginning but at the end of the lap, it's really complicated. We'll have to start completely from scratch (if it rains - editor's note). What we did today was good, but we're going to analyze what happened last year. I'm going to give it my all and learn from it.
