This is undoubtedly one of the highlights of the 2024 season: Lewis Hamilton, in tears, chokes on the radio, struck by immeasurable emotion. The Briton has just returned to victory, more than two years after his last success. If winning is already an immense joy, doing it at Silverstone, at home, makes the moment all the more beautiful.

Especially since at Silverstone, there's Lewis Hamilton and the others. The seven-time champion has raced fifteen times in F1 at the birthplace of Formula 1 for nine successes: a record for a driver on the same circuit, ahead of the eight victories of Michael Schumacher at Magny-Cours and Hamilton himself in Hungary.

A year later, Lewis Hamilton returns to Silverstone wearing red, having switched to red during the off-season. Mercedes to Ferrari. The forty-year-old is still aiming for his first success with the Team after a gradual start to the season, which led him to a good weekend in Austria (4th in qualifying and in the race), to give him confidence before returning to Silverstone.

Ferrari has also made a major upgrade to its SF-25 with a new floor introduced in Spielberg, which seems to be paying off: Lewis Hamilton had a very good Friday, dominating FP1 before finishing third in FP2. He is now ready to imagine himself achieving a good result on Sunday, after twelve consecutive podiums on the British circuit.

"I really feel like we can dream of a good weekend. But executing, putting everything together and getting the most out of it is another story." provides number 44 at Sky Sports. "I'm going to prepare as best I can to make sure we get the best result. It could rain on Saturday, and Sunday too, so I'm going to do my best to make sure we're ready."

“It was a very good day, pursued Hamilton on Friday evening. It's great to see the crowd. It's incredible to be on the track with a Ferrari at Silverstone. It's pretty incredible. McLaren et Red Bull have made an improvement, so the fact that we're still in the game, despite their progress, is very positive. I'm making a lot of progress with the car at the moment. I'm much more in the performance window where it needs to be. In FP2, we still weren't where we need to be, so we struggled more, but we know what changes we need to make for the next session."

Confidence is there, and so are the performances: a cocktail that promises a great show between the Ferraris and the McLarens.

Quickly, FP3 to see what everyone's racing pace is! But with rain on the cards, the cards will be reshuffled and some might find themselves walking on water...

Damn Lewis, he's dreaming...... We'll see on the track, an EL 2 is not a podium, and to be there, there are people, but he doesn't believe it :):):)
