Young wolves definitely have the annoying tendency to break trophies, whether they belong to them or not! After Lando Norris, who had broken the trophy of Max Verstappen At the 2023 Hungarian Grand Prix, it was Isack Hadjar's turn to see the trophy rewarding his third place shattered, when he placed it on the ground to celebrate this very special moment with his team.

The Royal Delft pottery factory, founded in the 17th century and which designed the Dutch Grand Prix trophies, explained via a spokesperson that the French driver will receive a replica of his trophy, and that the breakage was made possible by the undulating nature of the pit lane surface at the Zandvoort circuit.
“In collaboration with the Dutch Grand Prix, we naturally want the third-place driver to receive the trophy he deserves. We will be making a new trophy for Isack Hadjar. We don't yet know when we will deliver it, but we are working hard on it. This is an unfortunate coincidence. In this case, the trophy was probably placed on an uneven surface. This can lead to uneven pressure distribution and create stress points in the middle or in the thinner parts, causing cracks and breaks in the material.”
In addition to the new trophy Racing Bulls will receive, Isack Hadjar will be able to keep the original trophy that was broken. An extra souvenir of a very special Grand Prix! "It's important to note that the trophies have been on the podium for three consecutive years without incident, making this a truly exceptional accident. The broken trophy will remain with Hadjar. It's also a memento of a legendary moment for him."
We bet we'll be watching for the arrival of a package at Faenza in the next few weeks!
