Lance Stroll breaks a record in Jeddah

Sixteenth in qualifying for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in Jeddah, Lance Stroll set an unenviable record in F1.

The Canadian driver was eliminated in Q1 for the 75th time in his career. Stroll thus beats Kevin Magnussen, who held the previous record, with 74 outings from the first phase of qualifying. After a good start to the season, and two points finishes in Australia and China, the driver Aston Martin has been losing ground since the Japanese Grand Prix. Logically, when asked about this, Lance stroll responded to RacingNews365 also mentioning the quality of the equipment he drives in F1 since his arrival in 2017.

Aston Martin in the tough

"It was very close, but it was still the session where we were most competitive this weekend, even if it wasn't enough. We'll see what we can do in the race. I think the lower temperatures, the evolution of the track and some set-up changes could have helped us.", did he declare on the official Formula 1 website.

    But the day he gets tired of being the laughingstock of the grid and quits, Stroll's father will sell the team, which is the only way for his son to get a seat in F1. So it's a team that, in reality, has no project and no future in F1.

    Before blaming everything on the car, he should look at Alonso to understand that he simply doesn't have the talent to be in F1. Do the team a favor and get out.
