Since his arrival at the Reds, fans have been waiting for each race as the one that will finally reveal the true potential of the association. Hamilton-Ferrari. But after five Grands Prix, the conclusion is clear: the beginning of the seven-time world champion's adventure in Maranello is far from the expectations - often excessive - that it aroused.

On the Corniche circuit, the Briton was still unable to show his genius. Qualifying seventh, he crossed the line in the same position, while Charles Leclerc hoisted his SF-25 onto the third step of the podium, the Scuderia's first this year. Thus, despite a nice battle with the McLaren de Lando Norris At the halfway point, which shows that the number 44 can still be incisive and clever, Lewis Hamilton's race was discreet.

“I lacked grip, I lacked good balance, Hamilton confided, dejected. I was fighting with the car at every corner. I need to improve in absolutely every area. I wasn't fast, I was light years ahead in terms of pace."

Hamilton behind the Mercedes

Regarding his takeaways from his last three races in red, Lewis Hamilton did not sugarcoat his comments. "I have nothing to learn from the last three weeks, except that I'm just slow. And I need to figure out how to change that. I can't blame the car: Charles did a great job and finished third in it."

In Bahrain, Lewis Hamilton had achieved a respectable fifth place, directly behind his Monegasque teammate. A performance that temporarily shielded him from criticism, as his pace was so close to that of the number 16. In Saudi Arabia, a similar scenario could have played out: if he had managed to match Charles Leclerc, fourth place seemed achievable, especially against Mercedes struggled in the second half of the race. But the Stevenage native was never able to worry them and finished behind the two Silver Arrows.

The next meeting will be in Miami, the first weekend of May. Will Lewis Hamilton be able to find the key to turning the tide, or will the Tifosi once again have to be patient?

Being a supporter, a fan of Lewis since 2007, but having noticed his "drop in form" with Mercedes against Russel over the years after the 2021 GP, I thought that Ferrari should not part ways with Sainz, and that Lewis at Ferrari would do nothing more! Carlos was doing the "job". Too bad for Lewis, in my opinion he should leave the place to a young rookie. Between what he was doing from 2007 to 2021 and today it's night and day. I think he's finished. I don't know what will be going on in the minds of Ferrari's management, and especially Vasseur for the rest of the 2025 season!

Grandpa Hamilton took his Ferrari out for another Sunday drive. He certainly took great care not to damage it.

He had a great career, he will leave great traces but he must understand that he must know how to stop before the sign is too late, as they say, make way for the young and it is not dishonorable

If the results continue to be this bad 🤨, then at the end of the season he must ask himself the question, if he should not…… stop. Sooner or later….. it will happen, that's life. 😎👀🤨👀🧐
