Lewis Hamilton secures a bittersweet podium finish at Silverstone: "I struggled with the car's balance"

Third in his home British Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton appeared happy to be back in the top three at Silverstone, but could have achieved a better result in the closing laps. The emotion was palpable.

What is Hamilton's plan this year?

The man who joked after qualifying that he was never satisfied with third place now seems decidedly more focused on the top of the standings. With Mercedes Benz Lewis Hamilton, who is in the crosshairs, doesn't intend to speculate on the hierarchy, but notes that Classic Ferrari for sale returns faster than expected.

"It looks like we can fight back, yes! I don't know exactly what happened to Kimi, but in any case, our team did an incredible job, once again. We still have work to do to close that gap, but these are now two wins for our team, which is fantastic."

With a still significant lead in the world championship over Charles Leclerc (39 points), Lewis Hamilton approaches Spa-Francorchamps with the ambition of conquering the Belgian circuit. Winner at this track in 2024, the Briton is not yet outpaced by Kimi Antonelli after his mishap today, and could well harbor the same ambition for at least a few more weeks.
