Max Verstappen likes to use the art of counter-attacking. While all his comrades on the grid Formula 1 were in New York to attend the premiere of the F1 film with Brad Pitt, the Dutchman preferred to go to Spa-Francorchamps, just a few days after his second place in the Canadian Grand Prix behind George Russell.
Far from the glitz of Hollywood, the four-time Formula 1 world champion completed a new day of testing at the wheel of a Aston Martin Vantage GT3, a car belonging to his team, Verstappen.com Racing. This session comes a month after the one carried out on a Ferrari 296 GT3 on the Nordschleife.

The Dutch driver's team will make its debut at the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, from June 25th to 29th. Harry King, Chris Lulham, and Thierry Vermeulen will share the wheel of this car. Max Verstappen is obviously not scheduled to start the Spa classic, especially since the Austrian Grand Prix will be held the same weekend. Nevertheless, this new GT outing reinforces the idea that the Dutchman wants to try his hand at a new discipline.
Max Verstappen could thus compete in the final round of the NLS, scheduled for October 11, between the Singapore and Austin Grand Prix, at the Nürburgring. This championship also serves as a qualifier for the 24 Hours of Nürburgring.

I agree with you Yves-Henri, it shows that it is more important, and above all motivating, to come and ride at Francorchamps, rather than acting like a clown at a film presentation!!!

Max is showing everyone that he is motivated to run elsewhere... Let's see what he will do in the future... And perhaps a near future? 😎👀🤔👀👍

Between a forced movie session in New York and saying "Open your mind to Hollywood" and a GT3 test session on the Belgian track, I wouldn't have hesitated for a second! He's right to have fun rather than being in costume (who said disguised?) in the Big Apple...
