In Singapore, McLaren won the Constructors title in Formula 1 six rounds from the end of the 2025 season. Since the championship's creation in 1950, only Red Bull, in 2023, has managed to end the suspense so early in a campaign. The team Milton Keynes had then won all the rounds of the season, with the exception of the Singapore Grand Prix.
Despite the overwhelming dominance of Max Verstappen, on the way to a third world title, the Red Bull could not count on Sergio Pérez's results to end the title race even earlier. An advantage that McLaren enjoys in 2025, with two drivers in contention for the world title.
This is not the first time that Woking have prematurely won the title. During their run of titles in 1988 and 1989, the team, then represented by Alain Prost and Ayrton Senna, had won the crown 5 rounds from the end of the season for the first mentioned deadline. 4 rounds from the final for the second. The Constructors' titles of Ferrari, during the years Schumacherand of Williams, during the coronations of Nigel Mansell, Alain Prost and Damon Hill, also appear in the top 10.
