McLaren extends one of the pillars of its return to the top

At McLaren we are betting on continuity and the long term. The reigning Constructors' World Champion, the English team, which has been on a roll for about a year, does not want to be slowed down in its momentum. Thus, Zak Brown and the papaye management are putting all their chances on their side to prolong their excellent momentum.

It is with this in mind that McLaren has offered a multi-year extension to its technical director of aerodynamics, Peter Prodromou. The latter is one of those responsible for the milestones reached by the Woking firm in recent times. He has held this position since March 2023.

Peter Prodromou first joined McLaren in 1991 as part of the design office, becoming one of the key members of the era and even chief aerodynamicist. After a stint in Red Bull, he returned to Woking in 2014 as chief engineer before stepping into the role of technical director of aerodynamics almost two years ago.
