McLaren will contest the Abu Dhabi final with a special livery

The initiative stems from a partnership between the team and the VELO brand, owned by tobacco industry giant British American Tobacco. Called "Live Your Fandom," the initiative aims to place fans of Formula 1 at the center of the game.

"Our fans are at the heart of everything we do, and this special livery is another way to show them our gratitude."explained Louise McEwen, marketing director at McLaren. “Thanks to the ‘Live Your Fandom’ campaign conducted with VELO, we were able to celebrate their passion and creativity in a way that truly brings the Papaye family together.”

At the Woking-based manufacturer, there's hope that this special livery will be the boost that helps Lando Norris or Oscar Piastri clinch their first Formula 1 world championship title this weekend.
