Pagenaud, Cadillac simulator driver: “A role I take very seriously”

Cadillac, which will be making its debut on the 2026 F1 grid, has announced the names of its three simulator drivers. Alongside his counterparts Pietro Fittipaldi and Charlie Eastwood, the 2016 IndyCar champion and 2019 Indy 500 winner is speaking about this role, which draws on the technical and human skills he has accumulated over a 25-year career in motorsport.

2 experienced starters, a Yankee test driver known across the Atlantic who must be well paid, 3 simulator drivers who don't work for free... that's a hell of a lot of wages for drivers while the 3rd reserve driver is still missing! A strange way to spend your "Budget Cap" even if Cadillac Racing benefits from some facilities linked to its status as a rookie team
