The suspense is at its peak as we approach this penultimate round of the 2025 season. F1The title could be decided as early as Sunday in Losail, but the stakes are already high this Friday. The Qatari weekend promises a thrilling spectacle for fans: points will be awarded in the sprint race on Saturday, and then again in the Grand Prix on Sunday.

Lando NorrisAbove all, he will be playing for high stakes: he will have to score at least two more points than Max Verstappen et Oscar piastri to clinch his first ever world championship title, a title also coveted by his two rivals. For either of them to still hope to turn the situation around in Abu Dhabi and postpone the inevitable, the Briton will have to concede fewer than 34 points to the Australian or the Dutchman.

Teams will have only one Free Practice session to fine-tune their setups before tackling the first night qualifying session of the weekend, which will determine the grid for Saturday's sprint race. While the Grand Prix has been won twice from pole position, the Sprint has only seen a pole position winner once.

La Formula 2 It also makes its return, with a Free Practice session during the day. The young drivers will then try to set the best possible time during qualifying under the moonlight, which will determine the starting order for the two races of the weekend – one of which will be run with a reverse grid.
