At the 2026 season launch party organized by Ford Racing, the Red Bull and Racing Bulls teams unveiled the liveries that will decorate their single-seaters this year.

Red Bull and Racing Bulls unveil their liveries for the 2026 F1 season

Symbolically, the 2026 F1 season seems to be taking on an even more tangible form. This Thursday, January 15th Detroit time – Friday, January 16th in France – Ford Racing went all out to inaugurate the partnership sealed with the galaxy. Red Bull Starting this year, the American group has indeed revealed the liveries of the two teams of Formula 1 Linked to the Austrians, the first of this highly anticipated new season. In this instance, Red Bull and Racing Bulls retain their visual identity, while adding touches of novelty.

On the parent team's side, the graphic choices have shifted radically towards a more vintage livery. Squarer numbers, a lighter blue – undoubtedly a nod to the close collaboration that began with Ford – and a white outline reappearing around the letters spelling 'Red Bull' are choices reminiscent of an era once dominated by a certain Sebastian Vettel, when the Austrian team's adventure was just beginning.

“Seeing the new livery for the first time is one of those special moments; it starts to make you feel excited for the new season.” Laurent Mekies, the team director, was delighted. We're going to look spectacular on the track! This is a major new era for the sport as a whole and for us as a team. We wanted our livery to reflect that, while also paying homage to Red Bull Racing's beginnings. This livery is designed to celebrate the spirit of our start.

Red Bull and Racing Bulls are on the same page

While Red Bull is preparing to have Isack Hadjar, rookie of the 2025 season, drive alongside the four-time world champion Max VerstappenRacing Bulls, for its part, is preparing to welcome the only rookie of the year for 2026. In this case, Arvid Lindblad will take on the challenge at the wheel of a car Adorned in white, as in 2025, with bolder, more colorful touches, and with more prominent black and blue accents than last year's version. In both cases, the Ford Racing logo is proudly displayed on the halo of the single-seaters, enhancing the brand's visibility during television broadcasts.

Peter Bayer, CEO of the Racing Bulls team, was keen to highlight the ongoing work done last year to capitalize on this new generation of cars. “This launch captures the evolution of Visa Cash App Racing Bulls as a brand and as a racing team. From Detroit as a backdrop, representing our partnership with Ford, to the creators, fans, and communities we’ve incorporated into this launch, it all reflects our ambition to advance Formula 1 culture. We want to connect with the next generation in a way that is authentic, bold, and inclusive, and this moment marks the continuation of what we do both on and off the track.”

Equipped with Red Bull Powertrains engines developed in collaboration with Ford, the Red Bull and Racing Bulls F1 cars will jump into the unknown at the end of the month, on January 26, during the first private tests near Barcelona.

The spot-the-difference game, really not something to follow live right now! The only change that immediately jumped out at me was the wheels, especially on Ridiculous Bulls! As for the rest...

The first F1 presentations… the livery is beautiful with that light blue (Ford), but the engine manufacturer's name is a bit small… on the front and side? (RBR) And the same goes for Racingbulls; they could have added a bit more blue (Ford). We'll see in the future… alainkf1@pt.lu. 😎F1 2026 👋
