Celebrations with great fanfare for Red Bull. The Austrian team will celebrate its 20th anniversary with dignity in Formula 1 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, UK (July 11-14). Max Verstappen will be the leader of these celebrations: the three-time world champion will take part in the festival for the first time aboard the Red Bull RB16B, with which he was crowned world champion for the first time in 2021.

He will be joined by the first two drivers in the history of Red Bull Racing, which arrived in F1 in 2005 after the takeover of the Jaguar team. Christian Klien will drive the first ever Red Bull, the 1 RB2005, while David Coulthard will be behind the wheel of the 9 RB2013, one of the most dominant cars in history.

Other iconic Red Bull drivers will also be present: Mark Webber aboard the 6 RB2010, Daniel Ricciardo on the RB7 from 2011 and Sergio Pérez on the RB19 from last season. Surprise: Christian Horner, principal director of the Austrian team since its debut in F1, will also take a seat aboard the 8 RB2012.

The highlight of these celebrations was the presentation of the first “Made by Red Bull” Hypercar, the RB17, designed by Adrian Newey himself. This will be unveiled on July 12, on the sidelines of the Goodwood festival. “In its 31 years of existence, this is the first time that the Festival has celebrated a Formula 1 team on this scale,” said the Duke of Richmond, founder of the Goodwood Festival. The presence of the two current drivers including the reigning world champion, the team director, as well as the team icons, is fantastic. »
